Exploring Chakras

We will explore how to use essential oils and various techniques (energy medicine) in order to activate & balance the energy centers (Chakras) of the Body. You will learn how to identify if your chakras are out of balance and discover techniques and tips to restore them. Using a mind, body and soul approach we will help nurture optimal well being.

Mindfulness, Stress Management (Live Streaming Available)

Stress is a normal psychological and physical reaction to the demands of life. We all experience stress in our lives. We can learn to manage stress and lead happier, healthier lives. This class will explore the various elements of stress, how to identify and recognize when we are under stress, and practice techniques to restore, manage and heal from stress.

Eco-Therapy Nature Walk

In the healing presence of nature, this meditative walk intends to connect you back to your higher self and align your energies.  

Private Walks or Nature Healing Session available upon request. All walks are subject to weather conditions. RSVP Required.



This lovely walking trail offers peace and quiet and absolutely beautiful views. One of Buffalo's best kept secrets. The trail runs along a creek and is approximately 1.25 miles. This experience will take in the healing elements of the earth as we mindfully walk through the trail with presence. The walk will begin with (optional) gentle body stretching. This is moderate walking experience.

Mental Health First Aid Certification Training

MHFA is a certification course from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. The Mental Health First Aid course focuses on recognizing the patterns of thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and appearance that show there might be a challenge rather than a specific disorder. You will learn an action plan to apply to non-crisis and crisis scenarios. Those who are certified are able but not required to, or bound by any agreement to offer support to someone experiencing a mental health challenge. By following the Mental Health First Aid ALGEE Action Plan (a key fundamental taught in the class); those who are certified will feel more confident in their ability to: 


  • Approach in a helpful way

  • Listen non-judgmentally

  • Give reassurance

  • Encourage professional care

  • Encourage self-care

Upon completion of this course, you will be certified in Adult Mental Health First Aid. The certification is valid for three years.  


Course consists :

  • of 2-hours of self-paced pre-work  (Pre-works Needs to be completed prior to attending Virtual training segment. Material will be sent no later than 1 week prior to training)

  • 2- 3.5 hour Live Virtual Instructor Led Sessions  Fee: $125

The use of reiki as a complementary therapy in the medical setting is increasing. Reiki is an ancient hands-on form of energy healing therapy. Currently reiki is offered as part of regular patient care in over 800 hospitals across the U.S. including being given in operating rooms and intensive care units. Reiki is non-invasive and known to be safe. It is excellent for reducing stress and anxiety and improving overall health and quality of life. Reiki offers benefit to virtually every known illness and injury.

Reiki is a natural healing technique that delivers concentrated universal life force energy through the series of specific hand placements. Reiki will help you become energetically balanced physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. It is a very simple yet profound practice and can be easily learned by anyone.


Holy Fire Reiki is a new form of Reiki that was introduced about four years ago by the ICRT. It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance. Holy Fire energy is noticeably more refined and comes from a higher level of consciousness. Become a certified practitioner and begin your reiki journey. All classes are a combination of lecture, discussion, hands-on experience and fun. All classes are taught by Shawn Marie Cichowski, a ICRT registered Karuna Reiki ® Master Teacher and USUI/Holy Fire II Master. Shawn Marie Cichowski received all training by a licensed Senior ICRT teacher, including Master training with William Rand. Shawn Marie Cichowski follows the code of ethics and professional standards of practice set by the International Center for Reiki.  

Level I: Includes history of reiki, energy and chakras, hand placements, and scanning. Ideal for self treatment.

Level II: Includes reiki symbols, starting your own practice, and distant healing.

All levels include course manual, certificate, and attunements/placements. Please bring a bag lunch.

Prerequisite for level II: any Holy Fire Reiki I course. Reiki providers will be able to practice professionally upon completion of Reiki II.

You will learn how to use mindfulness to disengage from "over-thinking, break automatism and learn to connect with your natural inner stability and resourcefulness, so you can manage life's challenges more easily and deepen gratitude for your life experiences. This format is designed for practical application and integrates simple mindfulness techniques in to daily living.
